Top 5 Sunday Self-Care Considerations

❓ Do you use Sunday as a self care day❓

I have been a shiftworker for most of my working life, you know, where Sundays can actually feel like any other the day of the week ๐Ÿ™ˆ

While I appreciate that (and I really do) when you have a Sunday that doesn't consist of a uniform and set hours, what do you do to look after YOU?

After all, it's super important to reset and realign the train with the track to make sure the days that follow are as stress free as they can be and you are in complete control of what happens ๐Ÿ’

So what can you do to make this super simple but incredibly effective?

Let's have a look....

๐Ÿ‘‰ Prepare For The Week

Write Lists, make sure you specify certain days and times for specific things, such as shopping, cleaning and and those non-negotiable tasks.

By spacing out your must-do's, you will find time for your should-do's and your can-do's.

๐Ÿ‘‰ Pamper Yourself

Face masks, body scrubs and a great hair mask are all things that can make you feel amazing ways to make you feel pampered and prepared.

The more Indulgent the better!

๐Ÿ‘‰ Read A Self-Improvement Book

Not saying you aren't the best you can be already, but reading a Self-Improvement Book can really calm the soul, give you a new perspective and show you some techniques on how you can achieve the greatest version of you.

๐Ÿ‘‰ Focus On Your Skincare

What people don't realise is that taking care of  your skin is one of the biggest ways to boost your confidence.

The process of mastering your Skincare Routine is extremely grounding, and learning about all the things that can improve your skin game is always good knowledge too!

๐Ÿ‘‰ Have An Early Night

Remember those days as a child where you would hear "Early night for you, school in the morning!"

It works for us adults too!

When you sleep, you heal and repair, as well as rest. So take heed of an early night on a Sunday evening after a full tummy of yummy food, some chill time with your family and a decent amount of Shut-Eye.

Self-Care is not selfish ❤

  2. Over the last couple of years, we’ve noticed the word “self-care” popping up everywhere. Every time I encounter it, I think to myself, Self-care isn’t just a list of things to do; it’s a state of mind.
